How much does water heater installation cost in Singapore?+
Installation-only prices start from S$150 per instant heater and S$250 per storage heater, where the existing electrical connections, water connections, mounting location and access are suitable. Supply and installation is quoted for your chosen model. Removal, disposal, fittings and accessories, and any electrical, plumbing, access or making-good works are quoted separately where required.
What is included in the S$150 instant heater installation price?+
It covers installing one customer-supplied instant water heater where the existing setup is suitable: a suitable heater point and switch, suitable water connections, a suitable mounting position and safe access. The heater itself, fittings and accessories, removal and disposal of an old heater, and any modification works are not included.
What is included in the S$250 storage heater installation price?+
It covers installing one customer-supplied storage water heater at a suitable existing location, with suitable electrical and water connections, a mounting surface that can take the full-tank weight, and safe access. The heater, fittings and accessories, removal, disposal, new or extended piping, false-ceiling access works and other modifications are quoted separately.
Can I supply my own water heater?+
Yes. Share the brand, model, capacity and photos of the installation location so we can check suitability before confirming. The heater should be new, undamaged, carry the SAFETY Mark and come with the manufacturer's mounting kit and instructions.
Do you offer water heater supply and installation?+
Yes. Tell us the heater type, capacity, budget and any preferred brand. We check locally available models and provide a supply-and-installation quotation. The S$150 and S$250 starting prices are for installation only.
Can you replace my existing water heater?+
Yes. Send photos of the current heater, its electrical point and switch, and the water connections. We check whether they suit the new heater. Switching between instant and storage types may need additional works, which are quoted separately.
Is removal of the old heater included?+
No. Removing the existing water heater is an additional charge. Tick the removal option in the enquiry form if you need it.
Is disposal included?+
No. Disposal of the old water heater is charged separately. Let us know if you need both removal and disposal.
Are fittings and accessories included?+
No. Basic fittings and accessories, and any additional hoses, valves or connectors, are not part of the starting installation price and are quoted where required.
What if I need a new electrical point?+
New or relocated heater points, switch replacements and additional wiring are quoted separately. You can also explore our electrical works service for wider electrical requirements.
Which is better, an instant or storage heater?+
It depends on how many outlets need hot water, the space available and how your household uses hot water. Instant heaters usually suit a single shower; storage heaters can serve more than one outlet when suitably sized and piped. Check manufacturer specifications for the models you are considering.
Can a storage heater be installed above a false ceiling?+
Sometimes. It depends on the ceiling space, support for the full-tank weight, the piping route and an access opening for future maintenance. These locations usually need a site assessment, and access works are quoted separately.
Do you install water heaters in HDB flats and condominiums?+
Yes, subject to site conditions. For condominiums, check any renovation or house rules set by your management. Share photos and your property type so we can review the installation.
What information is needed for a quotation?+
The heater type, installation only or supply and installation, replacement or new installation, the number of heaters and their locations, and photos of the existing heater, electrical point, switch and water connections. Include the brand and model if you already have the heater.
